The Golden Angle builds a sunflower

Place each seed one turn of 137.5° from the last — the golden angle, derived from φ. It's the single most irrational spacing there is, so seeds never line up and the disc fills perfectly. Nudge the angle a hair and watch it collapse into spokes.

φ = (1+√5)/2 ≈ 1.6180339887. The golden angle is 360°·(1−1/φ) ≈ 137.5077°. Because φ is the “most irrational” number (its continued fraction is all 1s, the slowest to approximate), the golden angle is the spacing nature converges on for sunflowers, pinecones, and pineapples — maximal packing, minimal overlap. The same “simple rule → unbounded structure” idea as the fractal proof; the same refusal to round that powers the deterministic proof.
